This exact model of Eagle Pommel Sword is found on Page 98 of The American Eagle Pommel Sword: The Early Years 1794 1830 by E. Andrew Mowbray, where it is referred to as an Artillery Platoon Officers Sword, c. 1805. This is notable in confirming the sword as a War of 1812
