This is an exceptional A2 leather flight jacket issued to M. E. MITCHELL who was member of the 8th Air Force, 303rd Bomb Group, 358th Bombardment Squadron. He was a member of the crew of the Boeing B 17 Flying Fortress #42 29791 which was named MEMPHIS BLUES. Overall condition of the jacket is excellent and it is in a large size 42. The leather is still supple. The lining is original. The knit cuffs and the waist band
