On March 1st, 1867, Nebraska was officially recognized as the 37th State of the United States of America. That year, on July 4th, the 37 Star Flag was officially adopted as the national flag of the US. This flag remained in use for a period of 10 years until between July 4th 1867 and July 4th 1877, when Colorado joined the union, leading to the introduction of the 38 Star Flag. The 37 star flags are a rare and
