This intake manifold is called 'Split' because internally the mixture flow under the carburettor is fluidly split into a left and right flow. Due to the slotted holes, the flange is suitable for 30, 31, 37 or 39 PICT carburetors and therefore suitable for 1300, 1500, 1600cc or bigger engines.
