This is a fantastic condition World War One flare pistol made by the Remington Arms Company at their factory in Bridgeport Connecticut between 1915 and 1918. It uses a 10 gauge flare in a 9 inch steel barrel designated the MARK III marked with all the manufacturer information across the top of the barrel as follows: MARK III THE REMINGTON ARMS UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE CO.
