This is a tremendous and adorable piece of WWII trench art, a small model of a Seabee, the name given to the Naval Construction Battalions that served overseas during the war. The model measures 5 x 3 x 5. The bee and its head appear to be made of wood, while colored pipe cleaners make up the arms and legs. Hes holding a knife, an ax, a machine gun, and a hammer. His wings are made of a light metal, possibly tin. The
