This is an very good example of a U. S. M1917 "Doughboy" helmet, which features original period textured OD Green paint and is complete with all parts. This really is one of the best doughboy helmets condition wise that we have ever had, with only one or two being better. The shell is maker marked with a stamping on the underside of the rim that reads ZC 24. The solid rivets and heat lot number indicate that this
